He took my call today and emailed with details to help me along with my choices.

I am not doing things in some cases as he would, and that is A-OK:-) we had a great chat and I feel better about my next few steps.

Patton I love your level of detail!!! (No stone unturned)

Ryan - great talking with you today (oh well....it's 2:something a.m. as I type this so &quot;technically&quot; it was yesterday!). I now have a better idea of your goals, etc and love these darn cool, &quot;obscure&quot; Olds's (maybe not obscure to all us nut cases on this site BUT &quot;obscure&quot; in the sense of back when they were sold new and people had to do some digging into the available equipment {while the sales people were trying to load you up with &quot;luxury&quot; options!}and INSIST that they wanted the &quot;cheap stuff&quot; like a post coupe, etc!! AND YES...I'll take this &quot;W31 350 cubic inch motor over the 400 you keep pushing at me!!&quot; LOVE IT!!

What really sucks is all this talk about coffee, steaks, etc.....and I'm stuck WAY DOWN SOUTH, geography-wise (look at a N. America map...Austin, TX is WAY THE HELL DOWN HERE!). I'd love to be in that &quot;let's-go-grab-a-coffee-and-talk-restorations&quot; loop but without some Star Trek type advances in transportation, the internet and cell phone will have to do for now.

OK- It was 80-something degrees down here today so I'll rub than in.

Take care and keep hammering away. </div></div>

And as you mentioned each year make the pilgrimage to MCACN!!!!

Thanks again

Ryan
