Hi Dan,

This frame did not need any extra powder coat. I have a good degree of experience with Powder Coaters and Powder Coating. I will say this....not all powder coaters are the same....using extra powder coat can come out terrible and can come out fantastic....again it depends on the powder coater and their product. One thing is for certain, you will pay more for the extra process and extra powder coat. Again I would ask and work with your powder coater to make sure than you both are happy with the end result. Once you tell a powder coater you want extra powder.....the price goes up.
