Thought I posted this question earlier...
When a date is 'massaged'...isn't the surface of the housing altered? I would think it would have to be ground down or milled to create a clean surface for the re-stamp... just trying to understand the process. wilma [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/hmmm.gif[/img]

I looked as best I could for signs of the surface being "massaged", but it looks pretty even around the 37. |
