Ray, of the Flint cars I have in my data base they all have TR heads. I have seen D's on some LS6's but they were Leeds cars. What plant they are from should not matter since they were put on at the Tonawanda plant but that is what I have found. I am sure it is more like a supplier situation at the Tonawanda plant and would be more inclined to use the TR bolts as they are the most accepted for these engines.

67-69 Camaro gas tank straps original, restored. Removed from a 67 pace car 20 some years ago. They have been blasted and cad plated. They have the manufactures logo stamped on them. You won't find a nicer pair of originals.
125 shipped to the lower 48.

65-74 396 427 454 big block starter brace and bolt. Perfect survivor condition. Anchor head marking on bolt. you'll be hard pressed to find a nicer bolt and brace in original condition like this,
