agreed

launched 2 of the aluminum fans (bought from Loper's Speed Shop) through my hood on my 70 Z28 back in the day, they did not last long

neither did the fan shroud [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/frown.gif[/img]

finally went to the factory (73? Z28) flex fan ... it lasted longer but sent one of them through my freshly repainted hood in the early 80's

lots of 7000 plus rpms I guess

the fan blades would crack from use right where they mounted
