This is an old (actual original) 15x6 TT that was restored. Shot first with a dark gunmetal gray by the wheel restorer then fogged over by me with a rattle-can of silver argent to get that glistening "as-cast" look on the spokes:
![]() Different wheel (a new, backdated 15x5 TTO) with the dark gray mentioned above: ![]() The 15x8.5 (or were they 8s?) with the same argent silver treatment: ![]() The car, since sold: ![]() IMHO, out of the box new wheels, TTOs or whatever, can benefit from a little customizing with paint. It can set your car apart from the others and disguise new wheels as maybe being older versions. |
