Right you are Mike. Maybe, collectively, we can find a spot for the SLS. I only do 2 shows a year (actively participate) as I'm really NOT a car-show-guy. Neither show is actually judged and neither show is all that big. Both are more about seeing a small sampling of a specific type of cars we like; same goes for the people. Egos not allowed at SLS or The York US 30 Reunion, both of which are most likely in the rear view mirror after this season unless a new venue and a new promotors are found.
As for the racing, unless you've dumped the clutch at 6000rpm and yanked second gear with the front wheels still dangling, you haven't experienced what in my opinion, is a feeling better than anything related to these cars.

York US30 show is going away??? I hope this is not true. I really like that show. I'll be going there this weekend.
