Not even going to try to warranty it, it wasn't the alternator's fault.

Chalk it up to "$h*t happens".

Better parts cracking then you getting hurt going down the road. That could have been ugly...

Crazy question, but shouldn't all the damage that occurred be covered under your collector car insurance policy? If you had been driving and the driveshaft let go, and did all this damage, it would be covered. So shouldn't the same be said if it was in your driveway? [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/hmmm.gif[/img]
