I'm guessing a fuel related issue.. stuck needle, float, back fire , leak. ???? Something of that nature

Steve. I googled Mecum, fire, Reliable, Corvettes. Numerous times to find nothing </div></div>

As we were leaving they had the 57 Corvette pulled further out of the trailer and it looked like the most &quot;charred&quot; area was at the cowl. I concluded it may have been electrical, under dash.
