Have never understood why GM built trunk-lids for spoiler installations, but didn't factory option them in 67.

I don't believe they start building trunk lids for spoilers til late 67. My March built has a spoiler that was added by previous owner and had no provisions for one. You can see where they cut the under side for access for the nuts to be installed.

My 67 was built on the last day of 67 production and has no provisions for a rear spoiler.
