Default Re: 10K mile 1969 Survivor Z28

The ZL1 built with black/white D96 stripes is #59 the former Dwiggins car. It was not restored that way.

The Hot Rod '69 Z/28 test car still exists and is fully documented. Final assembled on or about September 30, 1968 at Van Nuys it was part of the LA Zone press fleet, featured in other magazines also. The Olympic Gold Yenko with the '427' decal is N579281. Both production units.

Super Stock tested a '69 427 Yenko Chevelle in the August '69 issue. No air cleaner decals.

Here's a link to an engine bay photo of an L72 COPO shortly after delivery. Appears to not have been built with decals but was restored with them.
