Hello BIG
What it decodes to is:
MD - Goodyear Tire made in Gadsden, Alabama
LF - G70-14
Y45 - Manufacturers code for the tire
217 - Manufactured during 21st week of 1967, 77, 87, or 97. After 2000 the date code had 4 digits
Hopefully thats clear as mud.
