That is awesome! Can't wait to see them - this is how we learn about these cars, so good job taking the pics.
Check the sides of the engine block, many times the engin code (CTC in your case) will be written on both sides, in yellow crayon, upside down. Also, you might find white "X"'s on the ends of the heads, under the Orange paint.

If you soda blast the firewall, you stand a better chance of preserving the crayon markings. Anything to aggressive takes them out. Bill Edel's deuce had lots of marks.
