Re: 69 302 or 70 LT1 balancer?
Should look like BillOhio's.
The offset timing mark is 69 and up. The 67-68 Z/28's and the L79's have the same type balancer as the "assembly line" 69 Z/28 BUT the timing marks are lined up. After 1969 the balancer's were the LT-1 style and the GM replacements for the 69 Z's were the LT-1 style.
