Brian,
Just curious about reproducing these. I've got a Myrtle Motors (Pontiac out of Queens NY) 68 GTO. It has the original dealer emblem, but it has a split in it. Is that something that can be repopped? Phil Woj ![]() ![]() PS. Yes, the emblem is on the wrong side of the deck lid. Still trying to figure that one out. |

That Myrtle Motors emblem is awesome! Great looking '68 too.
Whenever I ordered a new car, I always told the dealer to leave the emblem off the back. Didn't want any holes drilled back there where water could seep in, plus I didn't want a permanent advert for the dealer adorning my car. If I liked the dealer, I would run a license plate frame with their logo. The Pontiac Museum has a boatload of trunk emblems in their collection. I would imagine that getting one reproduced wouldn't be too difficult for a tool and die company, but today I would think a 3D printer would be the way to go.
