Where was the protecto-plate generated?? The final product was produced obviously after the car was sold because has buyers name. I always assumed the protecto-plate came from GM and was with warranty/phamplet package when arrived at dealwership ? and the dealer added the tape w buyers name?

but...just an assumption... anyone?
