I found no indication that the car had a side stripe when I stripped some of the added paint off the quarter panel. My plan is to build the car pretty close to how it came originally. I do like the bright side window trim on a black car, but this one didn't come with it. I like the correct small white-lettered Goodyear Wide Tread, that would have been used in `69.
