Good plan. I just ordered drag radials for my '65 chevy II for the same reason. Running 215/70 thin-stripe whitewall all season radials now on 14x6 chrome OE-style wheels. With the muncie, I can nail it in first at 20 mph, slam second, and the tires are still screaming and the rear end dancing around until the top of second gear. Not ideal for &quot;spirited&quot; street driving.
