Lynn, (1 more thing to nitpick) I remember reading somewhere that all '69 Z/28's did not come with a simulated Rosewood steering wheel. A standard steering wheel was on it when it left the factory. Am I wrong on this? Anyone can chime in.

Sal </div></div> The rosewood was just an option and available to all models.. Not mandatory. The paperwork is only way to tell if original or not. |

Engine wiring harness should go over the wiper motor and correct me if I am wrong but isn't the grill emblem too high.

I thought the middle of the Z should be centered 3 bars over and 3 bars up. Anyone else agree?

I am a little concerned that the expert, Chip Davis (anyone know him?) thinks a trans stamped H30 was assembled August 30. That would be a June 30 built trans, which isn't unusual for an August car, but normally on the early August cars. Still, could be original to the car. Not trying to be "that guy" but the other things that are admittedly nitpicking: -shouldn't have the little vertical stainless bars on the tail lights. -tire sticker in wrong place for Aug car -Should have the mylar vin decal between the two ribs on the driver's door (missing on some 08A cars, but on all --the cars 08B and -Shouldn't have chambered exhaust, and didn't from the factory -door latch parts should be painted body color -deck lid bolts should be body color -no posi decal on deck lid -if it is all numbers matching how was it "ordered" with 3.73 gears and now has a 4.10 rear -despite Chip Davis giving a thumbs up to the all original interior, I am pretty sure the door panels are aftermarket (I will issue an apology and ask Charley to delete this post, if an expert here tells me I am wrong). - carb looks like it was shot with Eastwood carb renew (should have sent it to Eric). BTW, I am not sure I am buying the dealer paperwork. for 70k, there ought to be clear pics of the pad stamping, the trans stamp and the rear axle stamp. Car was for sale in 2010 in Louisiana (It was a Camero then) for considerably less: http://www.usedcarsfsbo.com/asp/Item...=1%2F10%2F2012 Amazingly, back in 2004, the car had a CE block, and had been through a color change. I am starting to smell a rat (or at least a bit of a mutt): http://www.camaros.net/forums/showth...=124379n675091 It IS an original trim tag, and appears to be original to the car. So it has that going for it. </div></div> Lynn, you spotted everything I did. Also the door latch screws should be body color. I am just not a white gut guy. Chuck (427king) had a white survivor that he was gonna part out because he couldn't get 60k for. With tons of paperwork.

Do you have any dealer paperwork on your car?
