Don't know if this helps, but I have a set of magnesium 15x7 mini-lites from 1969 vintage..they are mint condition.. I paid 2k.... don't know if I paid too much???
And yes,they are available still..check out this set on my 64 Austin mini..they were ordered a few years ago  !!

It looks like the current production wheels have "ENGLAND" cast into them. I have a new set of 15x8 with 4.5" backspacing for sale locally for $1200. They don't have the England cast into them and have hardened inserts, center caps and lugs(I think) all new.
