Somewhere I have seen a discussion about the M40 designation as referring to the Turbo-Hydramatic transmission and not necessarily which one. The only 70 Nova to come with a factory Th400 was the Yenko Deuce. wilma

My 1970 L78 was built with an M40 TH400.....GM Canada documented. Bob
