The Yellow Douglass Yenko on the Cover of "Top Muscle" was exquisitely restored by SCW.

If memory serves the other Yellow Douglass Yenko shown in the pics above was found for sale by Bob Trez in the Milwaukee News Paper. It was very original when found, including the original engine. Mike G had it restored quite a while ago and it is now owned by another member.

Does anyone have any pictures of douglas yenkos with yenko stripes from when they were new? I have never seen a vintage picture of a day1 douglas yenko.

The reason I ask was because I was at chevy vettefest once with my black camaro L78, and there was a yellow copo right across the isle from me, one of the best restored cars I have ever seen, probably not as good as SCW, but I thought it was nice. I though it was maybe a yellow douglas car. Anyways, while I was standing there during the show, a guy came up with a vintage picture of a yellow camaro with a black hockey stripe, and showed it to the owner of that yellow car. I was not sure if it was that car from back in the day, as I could not get into the conversation the owner was having with that person that had the picture. But I always wondered.
