All 661 cases had the lower drain plug so that won't tell you it's an M22.

660 Main cases were used in Aug. and part of Sept. of 1969, the beginning of the 1970 model year, and these have drain plugs...

Thats one of the model year changes, beginning of the 1970 model year all Muncie main cases are drilled for fill and drain plugs...

If the trans was original to the 1970 Camaro it would have a 661 main case... Crash
