The only thing unique about this Z is the special paint order and that paint color applied at the factory. The stripes were applied the same as every other Z. Not sure if the dealer or owner had the stripes continue down the tail panel. To me a lot of hype over nothing....

Since some of the posts here were about how auctions run, I have a question. If I remember correctly at the Barrett-Jackson auctions, the staff is not allowed to bid on any of the auction cars. I may be mistaken, but I believe that is the case. Do the other auctions not have the same rules? Also, am I correct about the BJ auction company?

.... We may discuss it here ... but a lot of the bidders are not aware of this practice unless

it is in the bidders information that is supplied to them from Mecum.

Barrett Jackson are mainly No Reserve auctions except for the 7-figure &quot;salon&quot; cars. That is why they don't have to chandelier bid on the cars.
