Fred,
I'll have to go out and measure it and get back to you. I wasn't trying to jump on someone else's thread with something for sale. I just wanted to help identify the style and time period. Verne |

Fred,
IT was tough getting up in there to measure, but the posts are 4-1/2" apart. Here's a better photo of the emblem they put on the car in 1968. Verne ![]() |

His and my measurements differ. I don't know what emblem was in those 4-1/4" holes. Mine are definately 4-1/2" separation.
The emblem I posted is the SAME emblem that Reedman put on the car in July '68. I've never replaced it (just took care of it, along with the rest of the car). Just trying to help. By the way, Reedman broke off the original Laffin Chevrolet emblem that was attached to the middle of the trunk molding. Laffin drilled holes right through the machine turned trunk panel (worth $1200. today). My panel has the broken studs still there in the original piece. WHAT were they thinking?!?!?!?
