Default Re: 1970 CD2 Washer Fluid Monitor Float, Any Repro?

I use to restore a lot of these when I still had my parts company. You can source the float from a craft company. Find a dense material similar and cut the float. Find something to use like a hole saw. You can cut a square shape and sand it also. The shaft can be made from a plastic rod. Get creative. Use a tree from a model car kit, a swizzle stick... Ect. You'll need to plastic weld a flat piece to the top and add the color with translucent paint. It's not too dificult, you have the hard part done, you have someting to copy.
