I have had DOT 5 in my black 69 Camaro for over 10 years and no problem with it at all. Nice brake pedal. Drive the crap out of it every summer and fall too.

I've only heard of people with Corvettes and disc brakes having problems with DOT5. Maybe something about the caliper design that traps air and makes proper bleeding impossible?
I've been running it for more years than I can remember in cars with absolutely no issues. Just don't shake or drop the bottle before you add it, and pour it slowly. The key is to avoid any trapped air bubbles in it. Verne [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif[/img] |
