I'm on the woman's side in this case but I have a personal opinion. If you're barely passing a vehicle with traffic behind you, either speed up a little to get by or slow down a little and move over to let others by. In other words, if it takes you a mile to pass someone, adjust your speed.
I was driving home from work last night in a 55mph zone....I had the cruise control on 57mph and the person behind me <span style="font-style: italic">wasn't</span> using the 2 second rule....so I bumped it up to 62mph....same result. I came up to a stop sign. After stopping I only accelerated to 51mph. When he/she caught up to me, they passed me, after that, I put the cruise back to 57 and all was good. Kurt
