I'm confused. You saw a car for sale and you bought a car eight months ago. I take it your car is *not* the one you saw on the internet? Is it the same color? I know of at least (4) 50 Dover white with 720 interior 69's.

----That white/black stripe/orange int.Z from southern California was the same car as the one this guy is talking about. The "Cranes Corvette" guy in San Diego had it for sale. The thought was that the car was a California car, but it turned out to be from near Tonawanda, N.Y. and had a problem with the tin worm. I ended up completely restoring it and had it at MCACN, but the paint was incorrectly applied and we had to strip the car and repaint it again after the show. I lost a friend and good customer over that car as well as a bunch of money. Very sore subject, but the car eventually came out pretty nice. We had never heard of another one until now. Still pretty rare combo......Bill S
