It is hard to tell for sure,but it looks like the Nova might already not have an engine. Even nback in the day when these cars were common,that engine would have been well known as a piece to have,especially in late 66 or 67 after Grump started mopping up in A/S with it. A 12 bolt or Muncie would be more &quot;dime a dozen&quot;,but I bet and L-79 would have been quickly spotted.

I think the engine is still there: I see an orange oil pan behind cross member and crushed chrome air filter remnant by firewall.
