It's not missing Paul, it was eliminated. The tail housing on the Autogear M22's is a larger diameter than a stock Muncie, so the u-bolt doesn't work/ too small. The mounting plate has been drilled for the Autogear trans. So it has regular 3/8&quot; bolts holding the mounting plate, much like a Chevelle set-up. The round part of the plate had to be re-ground to fit up against the larger diameter housing too........good eye though!! I got good advise from Ed Hartnett in Phily/the Muncie guru.
