Eddie,

All the Chevrolets I have seen with the PCV in the valve cover were 90 degree bend. A straight hose would look kind of oddball going the short distance to the front of a Quadrajet carb.
The closest I have to what you are working on is my 68 Nova SS survivor with a 350-295 horse
motor. It has the original hose which is a 90 degree bend. A straight hose would never work on my car because it would interfere with the air cleaner snorkle.
