They could very well be Rader Wheels, but none of the ad wheels look the same to me. I would say though that the DBR-500-D (top right wheel) looks closest to me. The center looks zero dished though. The 800-M looks like the center is out and the wheels in the original post look like the center is dished in.

Look again. The glare might be confusing, and the shape of the openings between spokes is different. Just MHO, of course, not trying to get into a contest unless Brian is offering a prize..

Brian,
I found this HAMB thread that I think has your answer. Apparently Appliance Apaches were very similar to another wheel called the Stingray offered at the same time. If you look at the Stingray ad, you will see that same type of center cap and that the space between the spoke and the rim lip is less than on the Apache. I think you're looking for Stingrays. (Last pic is the Stingray vs. Apache side by side) HAMB discussion I took pics from: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/s...d.php?t=279782 |

How about a kool SCW sweatshirt as a prize? Anyway, the mag mystery is getting closer. It may very well be the latest pictures. I hope to have a few clearer pictures. Thanks for all the input!

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This is a newly found Yenko Camaro 8015 sold at Roy Stauffer in Scranton PA. It is Rally Green and was delivered with the mags in the picture. SCW/Arone will be restoring this one and the search for the missing mag wheels is on...BKH |
