Grease it! Metal-to-metal wear and a sloppy fit can actually trigger the knock sensor in the engine block to yank out timing. Ask me how I know this.

I use lithium grease! My trailer lights work. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif[/img]

Lithium grease cannot carry a heavy load. Use a Moly based grease. Just my 2 cents.

For my 5th wheel I bought a teflon plate, I got at a trailer supply. No mess with grease &amp; it it isn't metal on metal. Works great !!
