I just used 1FlatRate to have a '69 L78 Nova shipped from Tom K. in New Jersey to me in Seattle. I was recommended to them by another guy that is active on this site. 1FlatRate is basically a broker, but they set me up with an enclosed trailer from New Jersey to Seattle, with remote area pick up and winching a non-runner onto their trailer and hauling it cross country in 5 days for $1800. I was very pleased with the service and this price was $650 less than Reliable quoted me. The L78 Nova I bought is a project in primer. If it had been fully restored, I'd probably go with Reliable, but I was happy with these guys.
You can reach 1FlatRate, Mike Falco at 1-800-876-4888 ext. 5

There's no gaurantee the carrier is good or bad. However, most brokers will look at the CSA scores of the carrier before they give him the load. If their scores are high (meaning bad), they will most likely decline the carrier. Verne |
