Yes, but just discovered that it has the LS6 rear in it. Putting that and all the other things about the car together makes me believe that it might be a true LS6 car. I cannot say for sure that is why I was asking for any assistance in identifying it.

Also, if the hood to the car is original, it is a functional cowl induction hood with hood pin holes drilled from factory.

That is an LS6 only rear end which is a good thing but not convincing enough to say the car is actually a real LS6 car without the rest of the drive train missing and no documents.

Does the car have a gauge package? i know you mentioned the interior is gone but thought i ask if the gauges survived?

Looking back at the link i posted, i spot a picture that clearly shows your car came with a four speed bench seat because of the unique shifter hump i see.

Unfortunately that is gone to the best of my knowledge. I will have to go back and take a look at that car to see if there are any remnants of the dash cluster left.

That's a Van Nuys trim tag. If your car still has its gas tank, pull it down to look for a possible buildsheet as most Van Nuys Chevelles had one there.
