Wingate worked at Clippinger but also brokered factory deals for race teams through other dealers like Fred Gledhill Chevy. Traco was located nearby to Cippinger too so always lots of racing excitment going on there also guys around like Garner, Guldstrand and Yenko etc. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/beers.gif[/img] ~ Pete

----What a showroom floor, huh? That 68 with the stripe in the second pic was Wingates 68 driver, I believe.
----Several years ago I found that one of my old 67 Corvettes (Actually my favorite of all time) had been on the floor of Clippinger for several years although not purchased their new. It had been for sale (loosley) for all that time and I had been looking for it a similar period. But, as luck would have it I found it a couple of weeks late as it had finally been sold......Bill S
