Default Wisconsin Gas Stations~The Beginning

Really good PBS special w/vintage photos & interviews.
Almost 70 Wisconsin gas stations are now listed on local & state national registers as historic landmark places.

NICE!...I stopped at the Platteville station numerous times while I was going to college @ UW-Platteville...i just had a great idea, stop there for a special photo-op on my way back from Donahue in the near future.

Wish Illinois would undertake a landmark restoration project like that.

That's the station in Hazel Green. Very cool place. Eastern IA. Nova club had a cruise up there and to a members place that lived just outside of town. The owner is very friendly, and has tons of pic from shoots that people have taken there.

Deuces are Engler's Fencil sold red car, Cronkleton's FB Ericksons deuce, and my Rapids sold SY deuce.

Thanks Jim for posting
