We found some early home movies and race footage and I had a hero card made from the information we could glean:

			These are early production '65's (likely first week of August 1964) and have been purported to be factory lightweights, built using thin steel sheetmetal:

			Sorry about the double post back there;  my computer is being a bit balky.   Dad is the one that adapted this Olds fuel injection intake onto a Pontiac engine for Dick Jesse's '65 altered wheelbase car. They were probably made in the Chevrolet Die Room at Chevy Flint Manufacturing.

			Thanks, guys.  I have way more pictures that I do time to post them. Here's a few more: These are the Pontiac, Michigan assembly plant. All three of my vintage Pontiacs were built here:       The shipping yard. This is why cars can get "lost" in the assembly plant:  Pre-Pontiac:
