R/T came with a 440 or an optonal hemi.
No R/T SE with a hemi in 1969. (only in 1970). No emblems for engine size. Those hood pins must have been an aftermarket addition. Only Daytona Chargers had the hood pins. |

It's a very easy Day-2 installation. I haven't seen a factory installed set on a 69 Charger in my travels. (Which may not mean much). If the broadcast says it is so, then it is so. I got the pic from the guy who runs the 1969 Charger Registry last week. I didn't realize the hood pins were such a curiosity but I dug out the email due to your comment. He says:
