Yep, this is what people used to do on weekends before the Internet and before 450 channel satellite TV packages!

Trivia question: Alton Dragway owner/manager/promoter John Storey used to pay a Chicago area racer $50 a week to tow his race car to Alton and compete against the 'Local Guys'. And at one time, John offered him $100 to bring TWO cars. That Chicago racer is still active, although with a different car.
