I can't even think of any words for that. All I can do is shake my head in disbelief that someone would actually do that.
On a more positive note, I pulled the dash out yesterday. I was kind of surprised the harness isn't totally butchered up although it need a couple wires soldered back together..no big deal there. The main concern I have with the dash is installing the original radio with broken radio towers. This car by the way has the holy grail of 1970 Chevelle radios...AM/FM 8 track Stereo! I also got all the brake lines on tonight. I need to get a master cylinder since the one I took off is leaking out the back. I also have to pull the booster off and clean it up. After that I will deal with the non functioning electric in the dash.
