If it's anything like the one used on open element air cleaner Chevelles, the words are embossed into the metal. I have an NOS one here somewhere I can take pics of if needed. You can fill in the letters with black paint using a very fine artist brush, if you have a steady hand of course [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif[/img].
