Thanks James. I was just too lazy to post them all.
Jason: I believe there is a market for good originals. Page 41 of the AIM shows only one washer in the main illustration. However, there is a Note in the lower right corner that shows the second washer and referes to it as "spring washer (when used)". To confuse matters even more there is a note dated 7-15-68 indicating that "xxx4049 washer rmvd" (I can't read the first three digits). I am guessing that is the spring washer, and, as James stated, would only be on early cars.
