No problems with discussions, that is what makes this site the best. You were confusing me, which is not difficult to do at times. I thought I was missing something.
I didn't even see the other Black '71 or '72? Regarding the 1971 in NC, while it is black, it has a white vinyl interior, not the original motor and has been repainted. It seems to be a nice Z28..........just not on par with this one.

Would probably have to be a 71. Black wasn't an available F-body color in 1972 unless special ordered.
