Well, I guess I just answered my own question. I took a look at the email link posted by 67rsss
and the badge on the fender represents Stingray since they now call it a Stingray. Didn't know that.

It should have looked like this - this is a computer rendering by some German guy of a Ferrari 612 GTO, a car which I don't think even exists. But it looks more like a Corvette than any Corvette I have seen roll off the assembly line in the last 25 years.
