It could not have been a ZL1. None of Gibbs cars had style trim; of the remaining 19 only 2 were Le Mans Blue. One is an RS in near-perfect original condition; the other was an automatic sold new in Canada. Both still exist. ZL1s stickered for well over $7000.

$4700 is way too high for a modestly equipped L72 COPO. Most stickered under $4000.
