He was finally able to open his eyes and focus although he still remains semi conscious. She told me that the boys have been doing a great job taking care of the farming operation while Peter recovers. She asked if we could recite the Lord's Prayer and think of Peter.

Hoping to update you all with good news in the coming days. </div></div>

The Musclecar family is very supportive and we are pulling for Pete.

This isn't a quarter mile race, slow and steady wins this one.

Prayers sent.

I live pretty close, and would love to help in any way, maybe when he gets a little better I could visit and shoot the breeze, pretty sure we have some commonalities like cars and wonderful families.

If he is at St. Marys General Hospital where my Mom had her heart surgery I know for a fact he will be well cared for, the most wonderful repair shop I have been to.

Hi All!!

Happy to report that all your thoughts and prayers are helping revive our dear friend Peter. His son Owen, told me that he's awake and able to respond by nodding his head. We all know that Peter is a fighter and I'm sure that he'll respond positively to all the rehabilitation that lies before him in the coming months. I'm sure I speak for all of us in wishing him a quick recovery. His wife Vicky has journalized his progress and I'm sure he's anxious to tell us all about the battles he's won thus far with your outpouring of love and support.

Go Pete Go!!! Call me selfish......but I'd do just about anything right now for one of his signature Bloody Ceasars and a &quot;state of the sport&quot; address

Thanks for more good news Bruno. I know I'm not alone when I say we think of Peter &amp; Vicky every day. They're the kind of people who get into your heart and stay there, so when they're hurting, we are too.
They've fought too many battles already and once this is behind them we Pray for some smooth sailing for many, many years.
Get strong again Peter. We miss you here.
