I used it on my coil springs. Let them set in the sun and the product is kind of like wax. Took some in my gloved hand and smeared it on. Brush didn't work real great for springs. That was maybe 3 months ago, looks like it worked except for where the springs rubbed when they were installed. Paint would have rubbed off to but could have seen it.
