yes it's possible someone brought it Motion for work. Not likely anybody installed any "Baldwin" auto sales sticker on the stern of the vehicle at Motion though.

Came in for a 427, blew it up and got the only known Motion 327?

Chuck, is this credible?

"Chuck,Is this credible?".....I think youve already stated it above exactly as i would have "At the very least it is an original paint, never been hit, 435 HP, 4-speed Corvette Coupe. At the very best it may be one of the earliest examples of a Baldwin Motion Corvette in existence."
It is also a GM export car for a VIP in the military, although I havent found out why it went to Reedman, yet. Possibly he came home from the Military and decided to take possesion of it at home in PA instead of having the dealer on the tank sticker send it to him overseas?? Only speculation. I can say that the motion items were on he car back to the original owner I believe ,its just that the last owner decided to market it as such. He didnt throw valve covers and stickers on it himself last month to deceive anyone either. He was very honest throughout the entire process. I did learn that Chip Foose and or a producer for the TV show supposedly found this car and allowed the people from "Fast and Loud" in Dallas to buy it. Paperwork has "Gas Monkey Garage" on it,which I believe is thier business name . They were either persuaded or decided not to ruin an original paint 435 and make a resto mod out of it on thier TV restoration show ,so they sold it to a local car dealer . They made a good choice.
